Well Bugger me it works i just hit the garmin button in cf it came up with the usual " I Agree" button but i left it and it then ran ok this is a bonus as i have got cf to display Gmpc on my second screen, which is not vga but a indash dvd player with aux input so its a pita to get the mouse to go from the pc screen above the mirror to the in dash monitor.

Garmin supports only Microsoft's speech engine for Mobile PC.
Only Anna and Mary will work.
If you install the speech engine of "Streets ans Trips" you
get Anna's US voice.:

Im not at the car pc at the mo but i think you have to click garmin online ,register your copy and then sort out the payment i found it quite easy. Ithink it gives you either 12 or 18 months subscription

What format is the file in? I have tried many poi's converted to Poi.gpi and am unable to get cameras to show on the map, all of the other poi's show fine. Do the cameras have an advanced pop up screen

My problem is that I have mimo 740 screen and it has resolution of 800x480
if I run freeice with this resolution garmins window covers almost whole screen, other words I don't have volume, play/pause etc buttons..

I know its an old post but i just drag the borders in on my mouse to get it to fit my mimo 740
it works a dream in cf 2
i have replaced my mimo with my old vga t/s using a usb to vga adapter now i have full t/s on both screens cf 2 on main screen and gmpc on old screen
