I'm not. Still have all the gear for it, but my motherboard died a death last year, reverted to a stereo and haven't gone back.

I may at some point look into it again.

    For sure!

The stereo I have is a Pioneer AVIC-X1R, so has build in sat nav and AUX input for mp3 player, so really covers all bases that a carpc does, which is why I haven't been that bothered about sorting out the PC install.

That and the car only does about 3,000 miles a year so I don't drive it enough to need to put the time into a good install.

That's the problem, all the new gadgets are smaller and do more, but not as challenging... :p

Agreed that's why I think DC will never be as popular as many cars have OEM kit that covers most of what a PC would do. Back when we started only the real top end cars would get satnav !! But I do think there is a still a few of us left who like to tinker :-)

Definitely. I think digital-car.co.uk may get a resurgence from the hardcore enthusiasts , akin to you don't know what you've got until you've lost it.....
