    DC Goes Mobile!!!

    Hey Guys,

    Digital Car has teamed up with some software called Tapatalk, Once you have installed the app on your Ipod, or Android phone all will become apparent, been using for a while on the VVOC forum and it seems tidy!

    Here is the promo stuff from Tapatalk.

    Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone / Android and soon to be on Blackberry and Nokia. Tapatalk supports vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) and phpBB forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.

    I looked at this and didnt rate it a while back.... can you lot convince me otherwise ?

    It seems to use some weird port that my work firewall doesn't like.

    The UI is quite poorly laid out. Doesn't feel at all intuitive.

    The free version is 'read-only'. So is seriously crippled and I'm not
    paying someone to find out if it gets better or worse!

    It's just not something I can invest in. I'm out.

    I hear a lot of people raving about it to easily see all their forums in one place but yeah haven't tried it myself. Funnily enough one thing people seem to say it is useful for getting round their work firewall so must use some other common port.

    Yep

    I am massively picky about iStore purchases. Even the cheap ones. Actually because
    they are cheap, probably. Too easy to buy hundreds of not great apps in that place.

    It just leaves me cold. The interface is nasty.

    Our firewall is set to Talliban. So catches a lot of things
