This week Bernie has suggested a change to the points system, no longer does the most points wins the championship, it's the number of wins.

A little research i did last night, going back 15 years, finds that if this system had been used..

Massa would be champion this year.
Mansell would be a 3 times world champion.
Senna would be a 4 times world champion (i'm sure he would have won more anyway).
Prost would only be twice a world champion, having lost three, but gaining a different one.

They need to have more transparancy in the stewards decisions; there have been too many controversial decisions this year. They have to appoint someone who can assess all the evidence and make quick decisions in a way that is both fair and unbiased, but more importantly is seen to be fair and unbiased.

The person would need to have a keen interest in motorsport but, more importantly, have a proven record in impartiality; a serving member of Her Majesty's Judiciary (a magistrate perhaps) willing to travel would seem to fit the bill...

Well the stewards decisions last season wern't really that bad. Its just because everyone is on the hamilton bandwagon. No one would care if they went against anyone else.

You like activities involving cars with engines don't you?

If I recall you also like sending people to jail.

Are you possibly prepared to travel to exotic locations?

I wouldn't say I like it. I've done it and I won't shy away from it if it's needed.

Not if I have to put up with sights like these :
