I found a capacitive 6.5&quot; wide panel, that is of this size:<br />
<br />
Active Area: 144.00mm x 80.00mm<br />
Outline Dimensions: 164.00mm x 110.00mm	<br />
<br />
Active area is a great match, but there is 5mm x 6mm extra. And since the shell is motorised and moves up/down, it means that to fit that screen in there, the laws of physics have to make an exception if it's to work.<br />
<br />
Anyone have any ideas how I can get that screen in there?<br />
<br />
So far I've been thinking about getting the dremel out, and very carefully grinding away 2.5mm from the left and right sides, and 6mm from the top side. Do you think a projective capacitive screen would still work if I somehow manage to do that?<br />
