tires still have air and no rust or mould
tax ran out in 07 10
im gessing its been there since tax ran out probably more
its near some house in a wooded area quite well disgused

i took some photos of it and ill post when i get home
im thinking of swiping it
getting it wouldnt be a problem
the plate number is on the tax disk and i tock a pic so ill run it through a plate checker to see if its reported stolen
its defnantly not been just parked there so i dont think anyone will miss it apart from the kids that have been giving it a smashing

id like to see the bike returned to its owner though but how can i get hold of them?

In the process of writing a quick traffic camera app using a better source than my previous one (Highways Agency), this one has lon and lat for the cameras however having a few issues parsing the xml
anyone any good with parsing an xml feed with vbnet or c#, ideally vbnet

Trouble is the xml feed elements arnt typical, other than String, and Cameras, i dont see how to read in the actual dependants?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<string xmlns="http://tempuri.org/"><cameras><camera id="20227" latitude="51.34579849" longitude="0.149800003" description="M25 between End of Spur to A21: Orpington and Spur to Orpington: A21" /><camera id="20228" latitude="51.3891983" longitude="0.193900004" description="M25 between J3 M20 Interchange: Swanley and J4 Orpington" /></cameras></string>

a typical xml feed could look like this

      <string>

Here's the space I have in the board monitor shell:

I found a capacitive 6.5" wide panel, that is of this size:

Active Area: 144.00mm x 80.00mm
Outline Dimensions: 164.00mm x 110.00mm

Active area is a great match, but there is 5mm x 6mm extra. And since the shell is motorised and moves up/down, it means that to fit that screen in there, the laws of physics have to make an exception if it's to work.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get that screen in there?

So far I've been thinking about getting the dremel out, and very carefully grinding away 2.5mm from the left and right sides, and 6mm from the top side. Do you think a projective capacitive screen would still work if I somehow manage to do that?

Here's some touch panel data:

Thoughts?

Recently my M4 ATX PSU crashed (lost all power wouldn't switch on with ignition), I think it got too hot as I was driving in france on a very hot day ... anyway ...

The board seemed to be locked in Mode 0 (standard PSU mode) whereby it ignores the ignition signals and is always on, but sends an 'on' pulse when power is applied. So I (finally) fabricated a usb cable to attach to the PC, loading up the M4 ATX OEM software I found that the only dip switch that made a difference to the "input" status was dip switch 2, I presumed therefore that the connections to switch 1 and 3 have been fried :(

So I updated the M4 ATX board such that Mode 2 has the same parameters as Mode 1 and it now seems to work fine ... for the moment anyway!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCmcu71FiKg

This is Peugeot 306 steering wheel remote controls.
Image:...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCmcu71FiKg

This is Peugeot 306 steering wheel remote controls.

Peugeot 306 steering wheel remote controller is not resistive. But you can easily modify it into resistive to use CarPC JoyCon EX.

This is the connector of Peugeot 306 steering wheel remote controls.

As the connector shows, the output of the connector is not digital yet.
This connector is connected to a control board and converted to digital for Car Audio.
But we will modify it to resistive.

This diagram shows the wiring.
The connector of steering wheel remote control is connected to Resistive Button PCB instead of original control board.
Then the button signal is converted to resistance so that it can pass through the Clock Spring of the steering wheel.

The Black wire is GND and white wire is DATA. Let the two wires pass through the Clock Spring of the steering wheel.

Black wire is GND common, the other wires are from each buttons.

Connect the five wires to the resistive button PCB.

The Resistive Button circuit is very simple. We use only 4 switch at this time.

I'm not shy of spending decent cash ona camera, but does anyone have any tried and trusted reverse cams? I'd even look at a decent webcam to plug directly into cf2, but which ever I decide on I would rather have some feedback from here than just go and lash out on any old camera:)

So what do you guys recommend?
